Ingredients

  • 15 g fresh aromatic herbs — parsley, basil, coriander
  • 200 g unsalted cashews — soaked in cold water overnight or at least 8 hours before and drained well
  • 2 linguri cu vârf yeast flakes
  • 110 ml cold water
  • 15 ml lemon juice
  • 40 ml neutral-tasting oil — sunflower oil, walnut oil
  • 1 cățel de garlic
  • ½ - ¾ linguriță salt — după gust
  • 1 priză pepper
  • 1-2 lingurițe shallot — chopped, 2 mm, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a food processor or blender, add the aromatic herbs, drained cashews, nutritional yeast flakes, cold water, lemon juice, oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  2. Blend for about 1 minute until the ingredients are well combined.
  3. Add the shallot and mix (without blending) until incorporated.
  4. Season to taste.
  5. Transfer to a serving bowl.
  6. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
