Tiramisu is a classic Italian dessert, loved for its creamy texture and perfect balance of sweet and bitter flavors. 🍮 Made with layers of coffee-soaked ladyfingers, mascarpone, eggs, and a dusting of cocoa, it’s an elegant treat that’s surprisingly easy to prepare. Whether for a special…

Ingredients

  • 300 g ladyfingers
  • 500 g mascarpone
  • 130 g sugar
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 450 ml freshly brewed espresso — for children, you can replace the coffee with cocoa and milk
  • 20 g cocoa powder

  1. Attach the mixing butterfly. Place the egg yolks and sugar in the bowl and whisk for 6 min./speed 4. Remove the mixing butterfly.
  2. Mix for 2 min./speed 3, gradually adding the mascarpone through the lid opening while the blade is rotating.
  3. Briefly dip the ladyfingers into very cold coffee, making sure they absorb a little liquid without breaking. Arrange half of the soaked ladyfingers on the bottom of a tray or a decorative serving plate. For decoration, I used a piping bag with a decorative tip to spread the cream on top. It’s a simple method that makes the dessert look more appealing. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the layer of ladyfingers. Cover with the remaining coffee-soaked ladyfingers, then top with the rest of the mascarpone mixture.
  4. Cover everything with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 6-8 hours.
  5. Before serving, dust the surface with cocoa powder.
