Spoon Donuts

Spoon donuts are made by using a spoon to shape the dough into doughnuts and frying them in oil. They are fluffy and soft on the inside, with a crispy outer crust. This type of doughnut is quick and easy to prepare, making it a popular choice for breakfast or sweet snacks.
Ingredients
- 300 ml milk
- 12 g fresh yeast
- 3 eggs
- 20 g soft butter
- 530 g flour
- 150 g sugar
- pinch of salt
- 2 ml vanilla essence
- 2 ml lemon essence
- sunflower oil — for frying

- Place the milk in a bowl and set it to heat for 2 minutes at 37°C, stirring occasionally.
- Add the crumbled yeast and mix for 20 seconds until combined.
- Add the flour, soft butter, sugar, eggs, salt, vanilla essence, and lemon essence. Mix for 4 minutes until the dough is smooth.
- Cover the bowl with a lid and let the dough rise for about 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.
- Heat the sunflower oil in a deep pan or pot over medium heat.
- Using a spoon, take portions of the dough, shape them into doughnuts, and carefully place them in the hot oil.
- Fry the doughnuts on both sides until they are golden and puffed up.
- Remove the doughnuts and place them on a paper towel to absorb any excess oil.
- Serve the doughnuts with melted chocolate or jam, if desired.
