Preparation method

  1. Place the steaming basket on the mixing bowl lid and weigh the rice in it. Rinse the rice thoroughly under cold running water until the water runs clear.

  1. Put the water, oil, and 1 teaspoon of salt into the bowl. Insert the steaming basket with the rice.

  1. Place the Varoma tray inside the Varoma container. Grease the Varoma tray with oil, place the salmon fillets on it, and season with salt and pepper. Cover the Varoma and steam for 18-20 minutes/Varoma/speed 4 until cooked through. Transfer the covered Varoma to a plate and keep warm. Use the spatula to remove the steaming basket and set the rice aside in a bowl. Empty and wash the mixing bowl.

  2. Add 30 g of butter, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 2 pinches of pepper to the basmati rice and mix well until the butter melts.

  1. Place the onion and garlic in a bowl, then chop for 5 seconds at speed 5. Scrape down the sides of the bowl with a spatula.

  1. Add 10g of butter and, with the steaming basket placed instead of the measuring cup on the mixing bowl lid, sauté for 3 minutes at 120°C/speed 1.

  1. Add the cream, vegetable paste concentrate, tomato puree, chopped dill, and cornstarch, then, with the steaming basket placed instead of the measuring cup on the mixing bowl lid, heat for 5 minutes at 98°C/speed 1.5. Serve the salmon and rice immediately with the prepared sauce.
