Bringing Families Together, One Delicious Recipe at a Time

Crepes

Crepes are delicate, thin discs made from a simple batter of milk, butter, flour, eggs, and a pinch of salt. With Thermomix, these ingredients are blended to a smooth, liquid consistency, making it easy to prepare perfectly thin and evenly cooked crepes. These crepes are versatile and can be served with sweet or savory fillings, making them perfect for any meal.

Nutritional Benefits of Crepes

Crepes offer a balanced base of protein, carbohydrates, and healthy fats. The eggs add protein and essential nutrients, while the milk and butter provide calcium and vitamin D, which support bone health. How to Make Crepes with Thermomix

  1. Place the butter in the Thermomix bowl and melt it for 2 minutes at 70°C, speed 2.
  2. Add the milk, flour, eggs, and salt, then mix for 20 seconds at speed 4. The batter should be smooth and have the consistency of liquid cream. If it seems too thick, add a bit more milk. Let the batter rest for 30 minutes.
  3. Lightly grease a non-stick pan with butter and heat over medium. Pour a small ladle of batter into the pan, tilting it to cover the entire surface (crepe should be Ø 22 cm and very thin). Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the edges turn golden. Flip and cook for another minute. Repeat with the remaining batter.

Serving Suggestions

Serve these Thermomix crepes warm with your choice of filling. Enjoy them with classic sweet toppings like jam or chocolate, or try savory fillings like cheese and ham for a versatile meal option.
